Dear colleagues 

We would like to cordially welcome you to the Joint Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery (SSNS), the Swiss Society of Neuroradiology (SSNR) together with the Association of Neurosurgical nursing staff Switzerland (IG-NOPPS), which will be held
June 8-9, 2017 at the BernExpo, Switzerland.  

We are delighted to announce several renowned speakers and to present an interesting and highly interdisciplinary program with joint sessions, free communications, poster presentations, a SYNS Session and interactive roundtable discussions. Main topics will be aneurysm, gliomas and neoplastic and vascular lesions of the spine.

The Joint Annual Meeting will for the first time be complemented by two other established meetings on June 9, 2017:

• the 7th NeuroSpine Meeting which is a perfect platform for an interactive exchange and debates between neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons with a strong interest in spine surgery and experts from other disciplines.
  
  
• the SSNR Educational Course that provides state of the art education in neuro-imaging with selected clinically relevant topics. 

Besides the scientific program, the congress also provides ample space for networking and to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with colleagues and friends. We wish you a successful and satisfactory stay, and thank you for your attendance and contributions.
